Plantation Drive

On Friday, 10 July 2026, Garden High School IISER Kolkata Campus organized a Plantation Drive for students of Classes III, IV, and V to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. The event was conducted under the leadership of Mrs. Ekata Chakraborty, who served as the event in-charge.

As part of the initiative, students brought saplings or small plants along with recycled PET bottles and jars filled with soil, which they creatively painted and decorated. The activity combined hands-on gardening with eco-friendly art, encouraging young learners to upcycle household materials while contributing to a greener campus. The event was a success, fostering both creative expression and ecological responsibility among the students.
