Swachhata Pakhwada

Garden High School IISER Kolkata Campus organized a multi-day event from 22 to 25 September 2026. The program highlighted the nationwide youth-engagement initiative ’25 Crore Bachon Ke Sapnon Ka Bharat’ in connection with the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, engaging students through speech and painting competitions focused on the vision of a developed, self-reliant Viksit Bharat 2047. Held in tandem with the Swachhata Pakhwada (Swachhata Hi Sewa) campaign, the observance introduced pre-primary learners to vital cleanliness talks, hygiene routines, handwashing demonstrations, practical models of brooms and dustbins, instructional action songs, and themed coloring worksheets. Broadening the scope, a collaboration with IISER Kolkata featured a drawing competition and exhibition for Classes VI to IX, alongside an outreach initiative in which nine selected painting entries from Classes 5–7 and 8–12 were formally submitted for the district level contest.
