Capacity Building Workshop

Garden High School IISER Kolkata Campus hosted a Capacity Building Workshop on National Education Policy 2020 on Saturday, 21 January 2023. This workshop was conducted by the Centre of Excellence, Central Board of Secondary Education, Bhubaneshwar. Mr Chirantan Bhaduri, Vice- Principal of Silver Point School, Kolkata, and Dr Bidita Banerjee Ghosh, PGT Biology and Middle School Science Coordinator of Satish Chandra Memorial School, Chakdah, were the honourable resource persons for the day. The workshop was attended by 60 teachers from different schools. Hands-on activities were included here, such as lesson delivery, formulating questions for HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) and LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills), and poster presentation on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, based on the guidelines of National Educational Policy 2020, for the teachers.
