IISER Lab Visit by class 9

Garden High School IISER Kolkata Campus organised a Laboratory Visit for the students of class 9 to the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata on 11 January, 2023. The students saw the embryonic development of chicks under the compound microscope, learnt how to perform blood-group test and saw the germination of bacteria. They also examined their own cheek cells under the microscope. The students have greatly benefitted from this hands-on exposure which IISER Kolkata provided them with.
